You can simply head over to your local sporting goods store to find a stability board and stand on it for a few minutes a day. Just like the stability ball, this board requires all of the muscles in your core to work together to balance themselves and strength themselves at the same time.

For free core strength training tips that don’t cost a thing, look to your legs for help. Standing on one leg and trying to balance your self requires the same amount of effort for some beginners. When you get good at this position, you can close your eyes or lean forward to make it harder. By holding in your stomach muscles, you’ll find your balance and strengthen that core that you want to firm up.
